Privacy Policy

1. The short version
Majan HR is an HR platform: the subscribing company is the controller of its employees' data, and we (BeitBit) process it on the company's behalf solely to run the service. We do not sell data, show ads, or use your employees' data for anything outside the service.
2. What we collect
What your company enters: employee records (name, email, mobile, ID number, contract and salary details, bank account, documents), attendance records including device location at the moment of check-in/out when your company enables geofencing, and requests with their attachments. From our side: essential technical logs (sign-in time, device token for notifications).
3. Location, specifically
Device location is read only at the moment of checking in or out, to verify the company-defined geofence. There is no continuous background tracking, ever.
4. Where data lives
On the service's servers, with daily backups and encrypted transport. Passwords are one-way hashed (bcrypt) and cannot be read by anyone, including us.
5. Who sees what
Access inside your company is governed by roles your company admin configures: each user sees only what their role allows, and isolation between companies is enforced in code and pinned by automated tests. On our side, staff access is limited to what support requires, with an audit trail.
6. Who we share with
Technical service providers only: the mail provider that delivers email, and Google's Firebase for mobile push (it receives the device token and the notification text only). No advertisers, no data brokers, and no disclosure except under a binding legal order.
7. Retention
We keep data for the life of the subscription. After account closure it is deleted from our operational systems within 90 days, unless the law requires longer retention.
8. Employee rights
If you are an employee of a company using Majan HR, your employer manages your file as the controller; direct access or correction requests to them first, and we carry out what they decide. You can always write to us if you believe the platform itself mishandles your privacy.
9. Changes
We notify company admins by email thirty days before any material change to this policy takes effect.
