1. Who we are
Majan HR is a human-resources platform provided by BeitBit, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. By using the platform, on the web or through the mobile app, you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts and subscriptions
A company representative creates the account and is responsible for its accuracy and for everything done under it. Every company starts with a full-featured free trial; continuing afterwards requires choosing a plan. Plans are priced in employee bands as published on the pricing page, billed in Omani Rial.
3. Payment and renewal
After you choose a plan we issue an invoice payable by bank transfer, and the subscription activates when payment is confirmed. There is no silent auto-renewal charging you without notice. If a subscription lapses, the account becomes read-only for 30 days and is then suspended; your data stays intact and returns in full the moment you renew.
4. Your data is yours
Everything your company enters (employees, attendance, payroll, requests, documents) belongs to your company. We process it only to run the service, and we never sell it or share it with third parties for marketing. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
5. Your responsibility as an employer
You are the legal controller of your employees' data and confirm you are entitled to enter and process it through the platform under the labour and data-protection laws that apply to you. Employment, payroll and leave decisions are yours; the platform is a calculation and record-keeping tool, not legal advice.
6. Acceptable use
The platform must not be used for unlawful purposes, to attempt access to another company's data, to overload the service, or to resell it without a written agreement with us.
7. Availability
We make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available around the clock, with daily backups. Short maintenance windows may occur and are announced when possible. The service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee it will be entirely free of interruption or error.
8. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and in all cases our total liability does not exceed what your company paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Termination and data return
You may stop subscribing at any time. On request we hand over a machine-readable copy of your data (Excel/CSV) within a reasonable period, and we delete it from our operational systems 90 days after account closure, subject to any legal retention duty.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will notify the company admin by email thirty days before any material change takes effect. Continued use after that date counts as acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and the courts of Muscat have jurisdiction over any dispute.
